The VilaVPN Affiliate Program rewards you for introducing new customers to VilaVPN. When someone you refer becomes a paying customer, you earn a recurring commission for as long as their eligible subscription stays active. These terms explain who may join, how referrals are tracked and qualified, how commissions are calculated and paid, and the rules everyone in the program agrees to follow.
Any registered VilaVPN user may join. Sign up from the Affiliates page in your client area to receive your personalized referral links. By enrolling in and participating in the program, you agree to these terms; if you do not agree, please do not use your affiliate links.
1. Enrollment and referral links
After enrolling on the Affiliates page, you are given personalized referral links that carry your unique referral code. Use these links whenever you share VilaVPN so that your genuine referrals are tracked correctly. A few practical points:
- Your links work on all official VilaVPN domains — vilavpn.com, vilavpn.jp, vilavpn.net, and vilavpnbill.xyz.
- The customer must complete their purchase on the same domain where they clicked your link, so that attribution lands as expected.
- For audiences in mainland China, share the vilavpn.jp link — vilavpn.com is blocked there and a .com link may not load.
2. Qualifying referrals and attribution
When a customer clicks your referral link, a tracking cookie is placed for 90 days. Attribution is last-click-wins: if a customer clicks more than one affiliate's link, the most recent click before purchase receives credit.
The program rewards the acquisition of new customers. Accordingly, effective 2026-08-15, an order qualifies for commission only when it is placed while the customer's account is 90 calendar days old or less at the time of the order. The presence of a tracking cookie alone does not qualify an order placed by a customer whose account is already more than 90 calendar days old.
- The 90-day window is measured in whole calendar days from the account's registration date to the order date; time of day is not considered, and an order placed exactly 90 calendar days after registration still qualifies.
- Grandfathering: any service ordered before 2026-08-15 keeps earning under the terms that applied when it was ordered, including its future renewals. The order-time rule applies only to orders placed on or after that date.
- No retroactive clawbacks: commissions already earned or credited before 2026-08-15 will not be reversed or recalculated because of this rule.
3. Commission structure
You earn 30% of the payment amount on each eligible service. This commission is recurring for the lifetime of the subscription: every time an eligible subscription successfully renews, you earn the recurring commission again, for as long as it remains active.
An eligible service is any subscription ordered while the customer's account was within 90 calendar days of registration, plus every service grandfathered under Section 2. A separate, brand-new order the same customer places more than 90 calendar days after registration (on or after the effective date) does not start a new commission stream, but it never reduces the recurring commissions you already earn on their eligible subscriptions.
The 30% rate applies unless a different rate has been individually agreed with you in writing. Where such a per-affiliate arrangement exists, the written rate governs your commissions.
4. Clearance and payouts
Each commission is subject to a 35-day clearance (holding) period after the underlying payment. This protects against refunds and chargebacks:
- A commission clears and becomes withdrawable 35 days after the payment that generated it.
- If the underlying payment is refunded or charged back before it clears, the associated commission is voided.
- You may request a withdrawal from your affiliate balance once it reaches $100.00. Withdrawals are requested through your client area or by contacting support.
5. Reactivation and win-back campaigns
Genuine campaigns to reactivate lapsed customers or win back former customers can create real value. Such campaigns may qualify for commission on orders from existing customers — but only under separate written approval obtained in advance.
If you plan to run a reactivation or win-back campaign, contact VilaVPN support to apply and describe the campaign before it starts. Because the standard order-time rule in Section 2 is enforced automatically, approved campaign commissions are reviewed and credited manually by our team — they will not appear automatically at checkout.
6. Prohibited conduct and enforcement
The following are prohibited. They will void any associated commission and may lead to termination from the program:
- Self-referral — referring your own purchases or accounts.
- Cookie stuffing — planting affiliate cookies without a genuine, deliberate click by the customer.
- Duplicate or fabricated accounts — creating or coordinating multiple accounts to manufacture referrals or to re-earn "new customer" commissions.
- Misleading advertising or impersonating VilaVPN — false or deceptive promotion, or presenting yourself as an official VilaVPN channel, website, or representative.
We may withhold or reverse commissions connected to prohibited conduct and remove participants who breach these terms.
7. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. For material changes, we will give at least 30 days' advance notice before they take effect. Continued participation in the program after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
